My top 5 brow conditioning products

eyebrows brows rochester medway

Back in the 90’s bushy brows were the enemy, we are now in an day and age where the untamed wild brow has nowhere near seen it’s day (we salute you Brooke Shields).

Excuse the pun but the bigger the brow, the bigger the wow.  So step back from the wax pot, put your mum’s tweezers back in her cupboard and let’s help you grow these babies to their full potential, hopefully making your friends have brow envy.  Unlike most beauty products you can apply and take off with the passing trend, fact of the matter bushy brows is one thing you either have or don’t. We think you will be happy with our recommendations below as most of these are store cupboard ingredients you can use straight away to get your brow game on.

Here we list our top 5 products to encourage the hair growth and the brows you have always wanted.

Method:

  • Coconut Oil:

Place a few drops of warm coconut oil into your fingertips.

Apply the oil on the clean eyebrows and massage in gently for a few minutes.

This process is used to boost up the blood circulation, which is essential to stimulate the healthy hair growth.

  • Castor Oil:

Make sure you you apply castor oil to the root of your brow every day.

Massage a few drops of castor oil into your eyebrows with your fingertips, keep it in for 30 minutes. Wipe with a make up remover and wash your face with warm water.

  • Olive Oil:

This can be done at least once a day in order to see results in a matter of weeks.

Pour a drop of Olive Oil on your fingertips and massage on to your eyebrows. Keep it on for a couple of hours and wash it off with face wash and water.

  • Egg Yolk:

You will get a faster growth rate if you use this treatment twice a week.

Separate the egg yolk from the white, then beat the yolk till the consistency is smooth. Apply to your brows with a cotton bud. Keep it on for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Note: Egg yolk can possibly clog pores and lead to acne so use sparingly.

  • Petroleum Jelly:

Apply the Petroleum Jelly on the eyebrows and leave overnight. Do not apply to much as it may stain your pillowcase. Rinse with tepid water in the morning.

Repeat this every night until you have achieved the desired thick eyebrows.

Note: Petroleum Jelly in high an oil content, if you acne prone skin. It is not advised to use this home remedy to get thicker brows.

And of course don’t forget to keep regular bookings with your brow specialist in order to check that you are keeping on the right path.
